Preparing

Regard moving as an opportunity to get rid of belongings you no longer need. Consider making ”donate” and “sell” piles in each room for things you could do without.
Change your address at least two weeks prior to moving.
Take a photo of how your electronics are connected so you can remember how and where all the wires go.
Use winter coats to wrap around a handful of clothes on hangers, then zip up- keeps all the clothes tidy!
Defrost your refrigerator in time for moving day.

Packing and labeling

Make sure you have a generous supply of packaging tape, scissors, markers and labels.
As the title states, labels are your (best) friend. Attempt to label all the boxes and large items per room to help you stay organized as well as for your friends and movers who will be loading and unloading into your home..
Dresser drawers are like their own moving boxes — this will keep you from having to unpack and refold their contents. It'll also make moving the actual dresser much more manageable.
Pack the items you will need FIRST in a clear plastic bin.

If something breaks what is the procedure?

We take all the proper precedes to make sure this never happens and nothing does break. Although if that rare occasion does ever happen WeMove-It.com is fully insured to cover everything. What ever it may be we will take care of any repair costs and have it all looking like brand new for you.

What does WeMove-It.com do with 'junk' that has been removed?

When doing a junk removal service WeMove-It.com knows that we need to keep our environment in shape, this is why we donate and recycle all items which are suitable. We do work with different charities to make sure that those who are in need receive goods that can be used again. Of course there are some things which cannot be donated or recycled, these items go to the landfill.

Are there any additional costs for packing?

WeMove-It.com provides a pre-move packing service. We would be happy to provide an estimate for this service. Our professional team will arrive a day before the move to pack your belongings
